Yes I tried that, but a similar failure occurred:

    $ git remote set-url origin http://git.suckless.org/sites

    $ git remote -v
    origin  http://git.suckless.org/sites (fetch)
    origin  http://git.suckless.org/sites (push)

    $ git push
