Hello! We are trying to create a dashboard where the chart metrics reference
the to/from TIME RANGE specified in the filter box within a NESTED select
statement.
The parameters '{{from_dttm}}' and '{{to_dttm}}' work in the virtual SQL
dataset, but not within the nested select statement metric. We have feature
flags enabled and have also tried creating a jinja context add on for time
filter, but that also has not worked in the nested select statement.
From what I’ve heard in my GitHub discussions, I’ve been unable to determine if
this is a supported function or not. No one that I’ve spoken with has had any
success with using parameters in the metrics.
Is this something that’s supported? If so, could you provide information on how
it works (or if it will be available in the future)?
