Hi Apache Superset Team, I’m a user of Superset and really appreciate the powerful visualization capabilities it provides. I have a feature request that I believe would greatly enhance user experience:
Currently, tooltips show metrics and group by columns, but there is no straightforward way to display additional columns that are not grouped by without adding them to Group By or aggregating them as metrics. This limits flexibility when users want to see extra contextual information in the tooltip without affecting aggregation granularity. Would it be possible to consider supporting this in a future release? For example, enabling custom tooltip fields or allowing non-grouped columns to appear in tooltips .
