Extensions have no way to add a navbar entry or own a page today; the only option is FLASK_APP_MUTATOR + add_link() in deployment config. The SIP adds two menu locations (global.navbar, global.settingsMenu) backed by the existing `menus` and `views` registries, one host route at /extensions/view/:viewId+, and navigation.navigateTo(). It folds in #44101 (Settings-menu POC for SIP-96) so both land under one design. Details and rejected alternatives are in the issue. Feedback welcome. Mehmet Salih Yavuz
