Hiranya Jayathilaka resolved SYNAPSE-680.
-----------------------------------------
Resolution: Fixed
Fix Version/s: 2.1
I believe this is fixed now. We are certainly not able to reproduce this in
latest packs. In older releases we had a problem with handling large HTTPS
responses (responses larger than 8k). But that's fixed with the HTTP Core
upgrade and NHTTP transport fixes.
> After receiving the response from tomcat server synapse waits about 1 minute
> before the response to client is send

> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: Proxy Services
> Affects Versions: 1.2
> Environment: standalone synapse 1.2 (synapse-1.2-bin.zip)
> installation on windows xp SP2 and Tomcat 5.5 with axis2-1.5.1

> We use synapse as proxy service were a web service call is forwarded to a
> tomcat server. The web service call is done via https.
> The response returned by the web service is packaged into 8192 bytes.
> After the arrival of each package ClientHandler~inputReady is processed.
> When the last package is arrived the process waits for about one minute
> before
> '[I/O dispatcher 1] DEBUG DefaultNHttpClientConnection Consume input'
> is logged. I have attached parts of the log file.
> Is there a way to reduce this waiting time. I have debugged but could not
> find the reason for this delay.
> Synapse 1.2 currently uses httpcore-4.0-beta1.jar and
> httpcore-nio-4.0-beta1.jar
> I have tried newer versions of these jar files but was not successful too.
> Do you have any hints how to solve this.
