Hi Hiranya/Isuru,

I volunteered a few months back but I was unable to contribute time due to
some personal affairs. I would still like to help out, and I've already
begun to do so by contributing a few fixes:
    - https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SYNAPSE-1004
    - https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SYNAPSE-1006

Please do have a look through them.

Thanks,
Ravi
