Hi All,

We have migrated the Synapse codebase to Github[1].
This will encourage new contributors to make contributions as the Github
Pull Request model is much simpler than submitting a patch to svn based
codebase. Also, this will ease the reviewing fixes as well.

With the Github move, we have configured the Jenkins build job to use
Github master branch as the source location.
Synapse site[2] is also updated to reflect these changes.

For issue tracking, we will continue to use the JIRA system[3].

Thanks.

Hi Madhawa,

As you said even though we have a git repository, we haven't utilize it
yet.
We first need to get the next release out.
After that, I am +1 for moving the codebase to git.

Thanks.
