You are completely right Francesco.
I believe for pt and pt_br are more differences than en_us and en_uk,
definitely. People from Portugal are more strict and precise about the use of
technological terms related with information technology.
For your curiosity some terms Brazilian just use in English like mouse and
site, in Portugal there is a proper translation for these worlds like rato and
sitio, consecutively. Other example is that in Brasil generally new verbs are
created using the raw English form, like the phrase "click the button" in
Brazilian Portuguese turns "clique no botão" and in Portuguese from Portugal is
"prima o botão". In general the Portuguese language in Brazil is more flexible
for adopt new English terms and create neologism and
isn't my intention to jdge if it is good or not, just is my IHMO opinion.
