Hi Georg,
I think that this is due to the Syncope Console Java application nature.
I guess that the open files are the compiled sources contained into the .war
file of the Syncope Console application.
I suggest you to increase the max number of (possible) open files on the
machine where Syncope is deployed, like explained in [1], and restart your
application server.
