The current number input in UI is based on [jQuery UI's
spinner|https://jqueryui.com/spinner/] but is not working correctly under all
conditions.
A fresher alternative seems to be Kendo UI's [numeric
textbox|https://docs.telerik.com/kendo-ui/controls/numerictextbox/overview],
which is also available via the Wicket Kendo UI library, already in use by both
Console and Enduser UIs.
