Hi,

I heard about Apache Juneau a few days ago by an article on Heise.
https://juneau.apache.org

It seems John is involved although the only serious committer is just one
person with Millions of LOC over the past 2 years. Shows, even a
relatively small project with just half a dozen committers may graduate
from the incubator if one or two contribute such large amounts;-)

It mentions quite a few features not so different from Eclipse
MicroProfile, but does not seem to use any of it.
It does however use Spring Boot among other containers like Jetty.

The config module seems quite familiar to the HierarchicalConfiguration
feature of Apache Commons Config, although it also does not look like a
dependency.
It looks like something totally independent, which at most could benefit
from Jakarta EE some day, otherwise it's more of a MicroProfile competitor.
