I agree.  Alternatively, just use log4j.  I've yet to talk to anyone that
said "yeah, we really liked this logging framework, but midway through, we
fell in love with another -- thank god we had an abstraction library!"  It's
just one of those things that doesn't happen.

Thats a fair observation for an individual application, but doesn't
scale to a framework.
