I just spent the day cranking out a wide range of bug fixes, plus some more performance improvements.
I'm feeling very close to a release candidate. Is there anything out there that can't wait for 5.4? As in, it's just about time to "put up or shut up". Volunteers needed to trim down the bug list (we have a lot of duplicates), and to identify and fix minor documentation problems. I'm thinking that for Javadoc, I'll upload the Javadoc to http://tapestry.apache.org/tapestry5.3/apidocs/ and re-link http://tapestry.apache.org/current/ to point to it. Remember that JavaDoc now includes component reference documentation. Is there a script for editting the old docs to indicate they are out-of-date compared to the new docs (the same SEO trick that was applied to the documentation by Bob & crew a few months ago)? BTW https://issues.apache.org/jira/secure/IssueNavigator.jspa?mode=hide&requestId=12312317 shows 197 fixed issues -- Howard M.
