I have a question, and a concern about this series of meetings. It will be another month soon, so I think another one is coming down the line. Community meetings to broadcast what has been going on in the project and to try and attract new contributors are fine, at least as far as I know. However I think it is also a natural tendency that, if you get enough committers in a room, and start talking about something, they start trying to solve problems. Solving problems requires making decisions. And as we all know, that's not something that can take place anywhere but the mailing list. I would propose to change the name of the meeting to "The Monthly Apache Texera Update". I think "Sync" is ambiguous and doesn't clearly communicate that this meeting has to be purely informative, and nothing more. Furthermore, I would like to run the meeting this one time, to hopefully demonstrate what I mean, concretely. I don't want there to be conversations generated that tend toward topics that don't belong, and if they do I want there to be a reflex among all members to say something along the lines of "Take it to the list.".
