It seems to be missing from the C# the support for NamedPipes.
That depends on your definition of "missing". ;-)
But yes, you are right, it is not there yet and we would appreciate it
highly.

I can only speak for myself: Not yet, but sure at some time in the future.
No concrete plans, though. I do not know whether or not someone else is
working on this right now. To speed up that process (and since Apache Thrift
is OSS) we always welcome and appreciate high-quality patches.
