I have tested it using both trunk and 0.9.1 but it seems to work as expected. A
line break within the string, as in your initial comment, produces a compiler
error with both versions. Could you test with 0.9.1 again? Otherwise please add
a sample thrift file that we can use to reproduce the problem.
