for quick fix go to configure.ac and replace
AX_CXX_COMPILE_STDCXX_11([noext])
with
AX_CXX_COMPILE_STDCXX_11([ext])
or completely remove this line for disabling c++11 support
you may need to rerun bootstrap.sh before running configure once again
I'll work on patch removing strdup
