I think it is reasonable to drop 2.6 at this time and it is basically in line 
with Python 2.4,2.5/CentOS 5 drop (THRIFT-1604).
But 2.6 incompatibilities are fairly minor and we may want to keep it for one 
more release.

That way we have a version that supports 2.6/2.7/3.x at once.
Also it seems 0.9.2 and 0.9.3 had something incompatible with some projects 
including another Apache project (THRIFT-3388)
Going back to 0.9.1 for Python 2.6 might be disappointing for those affected.
