The "v" is not part of SemVer 2.0.0, it was in the 1.x when used in SemVerTag,
and it's confusing a lot of people right now. How to tag in v2 isn't settled
yet. I say wait for the "MUST" to appear in SemVer >2.0.0 and do that.
