Drystan Mazur commented on THRIFT-4112: --------------------------------------- Hi James, I could get the library to compile but not the unit tests or tutorials . So I am unsure if the process is valid. I built and installed openssl 1.1.0c to /usr/lib Changed the following in DefineOptions.cmake line 78 find_package(OpenSSL QUIET) ==> find_package(OpenSSL 1.1.0) -- Found OpenSSL: /usr/lib64/libssl.so;/usr/lib64/libcrypto.so (found suitable version "1.1.0e", minimum required is "1.1.0") Then cmake -DCMAKE_CXX_FLAGS=-fPIC -DWITH_STDTHREADS=ON .. The build passes ! > undefined openssl symbols when building with with openssl-1.1.0e and autoconf > ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- > > Key: THRIFT-4112 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/THRIFT-4112 > Project: Thrift > Issue Type: Bug > Components: Build Process, C++ - Library > Affects Versions: 0.10.0 > Environment: Arch Linux x64 > Reporter: Drystan Mazur > Assignee: James E.
