The causer example is different from this one. In that example it's optional. 
If the error doesn't really implement it, it still works as expected. Here the 
closest thing we can do is if the logger passed in doesn't implement the 
unexported interface, we fallback to use the default logger. Is that "work as 
expected"? I'd say that's very debatable.

Also if we have this function:

func SetLogger(l logger) {
    log = l
}
{code}

We are actually making an exported function (which is part of our API) 
depending on an unexported interface (which the intention was to make it not 
part of our API). If we change the interface of logger in the future, the code 
still breaks so we didn't achieve the intention of "not making it part of our 
API". We can bypass that by make it interface{} instead, but that falls back to 
the above point.
