Dear [~ctubbsii] thanks for bringing this up. But it seems this is not an easy 
way to get in touch with developers or users? The channel seems to be not 
public, its hard to find by name, and I could also not find it promoted on the 
website.

I think thrift is currently not easy to get started with for novice users. It 
becomes very powerful from the point when you start reading the source code. 
But below that entry barrier, its relatively challenging.

Would some developers join an open chat?
