[~jensg] we'll certainly check the travis result.
what I meant is that we want to do this 1 day or 1 week before the scheduled
release, so that we don't get into the situation that, say, we do it now and
the latest go release is 1.16.6, but go 1.16.7 or even 1.17 is released between
now and 0.15.0 release so we'll have to do it again.
