I’m sorry - this is on me: I’ve been very short of time for the last months. I
can try grant release privileges to current active members so that they can do
crates releases (I certainly don’t want to be the bottleneck).

Separately, I cannot get the thrift docker containers to work on my M1 at all,
so I can’t do any builds.

> Thrift 0.17.0 has been released but it hasn't been published to
> [crates.io|https://crates.io/crates/thrift](Also,
> [docs.rs/thrift|https://docs.rs/thrift/0.16.0/thrift/] is not updated).
>
> As 0.16 and 0.17 are incompatible, I have to use git address to install the
> latest thrift library when I use 0.17 compiler.
