The dependency was added in revision 931037 for TIKA-400 (NetCDF). Chris, can you check if commons-httpclient is needed or not? If it is, we should revert this commit and preferably add an explanatory comment in the POM. PS. Changes like this really should have an associated Jira entry so we can better track what was changed and why in each release. BR, Jukka Zitting
