Note that I ran the integration test that uses {{KryoSerializer}} (@dalaro
model) and it is "fast" (subjectively the same speed as before bumping to Spark
2.0).
Thus, I've isolated the slow down to {{GryoSerializer}} and again, I suspect it
has to do with the transient serialization Gryo pool stuff.
