After one dozen releases on 3.3.x, I think we can safely leave that release line behind at this point to focus on future development. 3.3.x has diverged in a number of places from master and merging is sometimes not fun going up through the branches depending on what's changed. Dropping development there would be nice.
So, that will make the upcoming 3.3.11 the final release on that line and will leave us with 3.4-dev and master branches, with that hope that we can see the first release on 3.5.0 out in the coming months. Unless there are objections in the next 72 hours, I'll assume lazy consensus and proceed in that direction (i.e. changing docs, making announcements, etc). Thanks!
