Correct 56e4f3f84eca9993089225e2f6f7cd0f01c30a9a is no longer useful. Your
changes still seem like good ones though. Could you rebase on the
{{TINKERPOP-2550}} branch and then squash those commits to just one? then i
will merge your PR when the {{TINKERPOP-2550}} change goes in.
