The only way to set a custom Mapper configuration for `io()` is to build one in
Java. there is some partial control there fore IoRegistry implementations but
it feels like that could easily be extended to cover other configuration
options for GraphWriter and GraphReader Builders so that they could be used
without need to be on the JVM.
