Hi everyone, I’ve reopened 3.7-dev following the recent release, however I’ve held off of reopening 3.6-dev for now as I want to gauge interest in continued development on that branch as I noticed there was not a lot of activity from 3.6.7 to 3.6.8, and looking at download statistics, 3.6.7 usage was a small fraction of 3.7.2.
If there are no objections raised in this thread, I propose that we leave 3.6-dev closed and target all maintenance changes to 3.7-dev. As always, this direction could be later reversed should a need arise and the community deems a 3.6.9 release to be necessary. I will lead this thread open for about a week, such that I will reopen 3.6-dev if requested, otherwise I will update the repo to reflect 3.6-dev becoming an inactive branch. Thanks, Cole
