There is an added feature to the Java GLV that needs a section in the upgrade
documentation. The ability to reuse connections for transactions might yield
significant performance for users that issue lots of small transactions. This
should be tested first and verified to give a sort of baseline performance
improvement. Once some performance numbers have been established then it would
be good to add it to the upgrade documentation.
