Hello,
Given the positive response about Daniel Gruno being a TinkerPop PMC, I would
like to bring this to vote.
In summary:
* Gruno knows Apache policy.
* Gruno knows Apache infrastructure.
* Gruno is agnostic to TinkerPop code -- he cares about Apache.
* Gruno will protect TinkerPop from corporate interest.
* Gruno has helped us with getting a more engaged community through
legal communication infrastructure.
* Gruno has helped us with getting the RTC understood and implemented.
* Gruno will help us with more of these nitty gritties and guarantee
our project is in tip-top legal shape.
* Gruno is available and you can ask him things w/ a "hang out online
all day like a true computer head"-turn around time.
* …and my favorite (which I can't wait to see unfold)
…down the road when someone ding bat outsider is all "What are you guys doing
over there? Apache requires blah blah…" We sit back and go: "Gruno's got this
one. Sic 'em Gruno."
My VOTE +1.
This VOTE closes Friday October 29th at 6:05pm MST.
Thanks,
Marko.
