I hope you get excited about these ideas. Personally, I'm really glad I spent
an honest effort understanding the mathematics/computations of quantum
mechanics. Its a very cool domain in that it touches physics, computing,
metaphysics, and philosophy. There are lots of great books and articles out
there and having the baseline knowledge presented in the talk allows me to
follow the developments of the space and hopefully, contribute to it.
