It seems you're eager to contribute and stuff, and I think that's good, but if I said -1 to your patch, this means the answer to this question is "no". This will cause problems, and is also inefficient. I think this is a special case with AJP, where recycle should possibly be called on the localName MessageBytes before reading the localName field (it should be fairly explicit that the localName/Addr are otherwise never recycled in the Request object).
