Hi, I've committed to the trunk the modified service.bat that automatically detects the host CPU (x86, amd64, ia64) and whether the JVM is 64 bit or not. So it automatically picks tomcat6.exe, amd64/tomcat6.exe depending on the above rules.
However it requires that the .zip distro contains those executables (I've modified dist.xml) as well. (Since there were no objections to that) Any problem I commit those to 5.5.x and 6.0.x branches?
