All,

I saw a suggestion to skip the February releases since the January ones where relatively late. Is there general consensus for that approach or would folks prefer that we started on a set of February releases soon?

Kind regards,

Mark

No objections against skipping the February releases.

Is a tcnative release to include the last fixes plus binary builds with recent OpenSSL still planned? The high and critical IMHO do not affect tcnative in combination with Tomcat. But it might help users not being forced to argue in detail, why it is still OK for them to use software including the previous OpenSSL versions.

I should be able to get that done. I'll aim to tag later this week.

+1 to skipping Feb releases (I'm fairly sure it was my suggestion).

+1 for another tcnative release.

I have it on my TODO list to change some of the language for the tcnative releases. Really, it's only aligning the language for "changelog" with our regular Tomcat releases.

When you put up the website changes, do you just copy/paste the previous release announcement as a template, or is there any automated generation of the "news" item for the main Tomcat page?

It is all copy/paste. No automation.

Mark
