Nice.
Few small suggestions:
- for users of ubuntu ( and probably some rpm-based distro ) - it would be
good to include the packages they should install first and have a specific
example.
apt-get install libapr1.0-dev libssl-dev
...
(specific command flags )
ok I was thinking of doing in for fedora8 ;-)
It would be even better to have a .deb or .rpm to install :-)
Well that is more work and may interfere with the packagers work.
- regarding install/run - would it be possible to make it simpler/more
consistent - like point the install to /usr/local/lib, or
TOMCAT_HOME/lib/native (?)
Ok. /usr/local/lib is not so good because it needs root access to install.
and
pre-including it in the startup script ?

Hi,
I have prepared a doc for the tomcat native library.

The idea is to add it like http://tomcat.apache.org/tc-native-docs
Comments?
Cheers
