so that they don't leave files with trailing spaces?
Sorry, but no.
I cannot say that it is impossible, but it is hard to do.
IMO any descent editor has something like 'Trim trailing spaces'
either as 'execute on save' or as a manual command, so
shouldn't be that hard :)
