Adding a static context to tomcat for static files like images, js, html etc. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Key: MTOMCAT-137 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/MTOMCAT-137 Project: Apache Tomcat Maven Plugin Issue Type: Improvement Components: tomcat6 Affects Versions: 2.0-beta-1 Environment: Eclipse on windows platform with internal tomcat server. Reporter: Gaurav Vishnoi Assignee: Olivier Lamy (*$^¨%`£) Priority: Minor Fix For: 2.0-beta-1 There is no configuration available in the current tomcat maven plugin to add a static context. If you want to include static context you would need an external Apache server hosting your static files. Instead of setting the Apache I wanted to include the static context in my pom.xml. So, I modified the tomcat maven plugin to include the configurations for static context. I have created a patch and will attach it here. -- This message is automatically generated by JIRA.
