After removing the WEB-INF/beans.xml, I get a java.io.FileNotFoundException: Could not open ServletContext resource [/WEB-INF/beans.xml]. If the beans.xml isnt present, how would Spring figure out the configuration. Sorry if I'm being dumb about this, I'm missing something basic here.
