All, I've opened a request to have the code we've been using to run the former Java EE TCK opened so everyone can run the new Jakarta EE TCK.
- https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-17633 The history here is that the Java EE TCK was proprietary with significant access/usage restrictions and severe language against publicly sharing the results. With these restrictions gone, we can now finally open up the harness so people can run the TCK on their machines and start the work to help TomEE become Jakarta EE 8 certified. Stay tuned. Once this is opened, there'll be a lot of work to move documentation to where it needs to be and organize the community as a whole. As a side note, I can promise you this will be one of the great trills of your life. I am so thrilled we're all standing here in 2018 with an open source TCK and the biggest community we've ever had and we get to do it again, together, even bigger and better than before.
