I just pushed a fix, which will hopefully bring it down to 2 failing tests (that means the org.jboss.cdi.tck.* tests). CI is already running. I also did a git bisect session regarding the two failing org.jboss.cdi.tck.* tests a few days ago. It looks like this commit is causing the org.jboss.cdi.tck.* tests to fail: https://github.com/apache/tomee/commit/057ed7adade08d8c2132ab1c8bc6fa367c93e946 I am missing the context of the related changes and don't want to simply revert it. To debug it (in case anyone want to have a look...): 1. Conduct a quick build without tests ("-Pquick -DskipTests -Dsurefire.useFile=false -DdisableXmlReport=true -DuniqueVersion=false -ff -Dassemble -DfailIfNoTests=false clean install") 2. In tck/cdi-tomee/pom.xml in line 34 change it to <suite.name>failing</suite.name> 3. In tck/cdi-tomee/src/test/resources/failing.xml update the class name to "org.jboss.cdi.tck.tests.context.session.async.SessionContextAsyncListe nerTest" (only execute the failing test class) 4. In tck/cdi-tomee/src/test/resources/arquillian.xml add <property name="debug">true</property> 5.
