I solved that by bumping the version from kernel-api/build.sbt from 4.6 to 4.9:
```
libraryDependencies += "net.sf.jopt-simple" % "jopt-simple" % "4.9" // MIT
```
To me, it looks a case of a hidden/provided dependency appearing.
How do I submit a pull request? I've got a CLA in place.
