-1, I think https://github.com/apache/trafficcontrol/pull/5401 should
be backported to 5.0.x, otherwise 3+ tier topologies won't work.

Also, I believe [email protected] is looking into a possible issue
with /api/3.0/servers/:host_name/update_status (edges seem to get
stuck waiting for parents to revalidate when the parents don't have
revalidations pending). I don't think there's an open issue yet, but
we should probably include that fix once we get to the bottom of it.
