-1, I think https://github.com/apache/trafficcontrol/pull/5401 should be backported to 5.0.x, otherwise 3+ tier topologies won't work.
Also, I believe [email protected] is looking into a possible issue with /api/3.0/servers/:host_name/update_status (edges seem to get stuck waiting for parents to revalidate when the parents don't have revalidations pending). I don't think there's an open issue yet, but we should probably include that fix once we get to the bottom of it. - Rawlin On Thu, Jan 7, 2021 at 10:58 AM ocket 8888 <[email protected]> wrote: > > Hello All, > > I've prepared a release for v5.0.0-RC6 > > The vote is open for at least 72 hours and passes if a majority of at least > 3 +1 PMC votes are cast. > > [ ] +1 Approve the release > [ ] -1 Do not release this package because ... > > Changes since 4.1.1: > https://github.com/apache/trafficcontrol/compare/RELEASE-4.1.1...RELEASE-5.0.0-RC6 > <https://github.com/apache/trafficcontrol/compare/RELEASE-4.1.1...RELEASE-5.0.0-RC2> > > This corresponds to git: > Hash: cd785960a6c172a612c6587c672113fe85ec7e3c > Tag: RELEASE-5.0.0-RC6 > > Which can be verified with the following: git tag -v RELEASE-5.0.0-RC6 > > My code signing key is available here: > https://keys.gnupg.net/pks/lookup?search=0xF5D560A373B76FA302A95DBFCDFE430685982C95&fingerprint=on&op=index > > Make sure you refresh from a key server to get all relevant signatures. > The source .tgz file, pgp signature (.asc signed with my key from > above), and sha512 checksums are provided here: > https://dist.apache.org/repos/dist/dev/trafficcontrol/5.0.0/RC6 > <https://dist.apache.org/repos/dist/dev/trafficcontrol/5.0.0/RC2> > > Thanks! > ocket8888 [email protected]
