Fwiw, that’s not generally how things work. You had stated that the vote was 
very short (“end of the day”), so at a minimum you need to let that time pass. 
The reason for this is because you need to give people time to -1 a vote, i.e. 
it’s not sufficient to just have achieved 3 or more +1 votes.

Moot point since you -1 it yourself, but this is an important step of the 
voting process. I’d personally not do anything less than 24h on a vote, and 
more common is at least 72h.
