My proposal is to do the change in the code right before we fork 2.2 so as to minimize merge hell of patches on 2.0 into 2.1.
If we do it at the start of 2.1 then every bug fix to 2.0 will involve a very difficult merge. If we do it at the start of 2.2 then 2.2 will be the new stable, and 2.3 will the be the development line and they will both use TS_ and merging will be easier. I know it is annoying to wait that long for such an obvious change, but I don't have a better idea. +1 for the above proposal john On 2/17/2010 4:29 PM, George Paul wrote: > +1 for 2.1 > -George > On 2/17/10 3:01 PM, Leif Hedstrom wrote: >> On 02/17/2010 03:55 PM, Bryan Call wrote: >>> After the heated debate (j/k), I will put this up for a vote... >>> >>> I propose that we change the prefix for the APIs, #define, filenames, >>> etc from INK_ to TS_.
