This release has a large number of bug fixes and improvements over previous releases. One
major change is a overhaul of many Plugin APIs, to help migration to the new order, a
script is made available in the source tree, tools/apichecker.pl. You can run it as a
"grep" command inside Emacs, or whatever editor / IDE you use. In addition, the
management APIs have been cleaned up (unified and renamed to the TS* namespace), and it
is available as a shared library + include file in the installation tree.
