as a gentle reminder to dev@, and FYI to users@, we try to keep a short list of
what’s new in various releases of ATS on the Wiki. For example, we have

Please make sure that you update these documents as we move along with the next
version. These text sections should focus on new features / changes, and they
are not a substitute for the proper documentation in the Sphinx docs. But it’s
useful for someone using ATS to get a quick overview of what’s changing between
versions.
