Hi, I just did the "add your github ID to your ASF profile" step.
One oddity is that when I log into the id.apache.org application, it showed two "Github Username" fields. The first contained "<not present>" while the second was blank. It would not allow me to edit the first one, but it did allow me to type in something into the second box. I typed in my Github user name there, and submitted the changes. When I log back in again, it shows my Github user name in the first of these "Github Username" fields. So it's quirky but seems to work so far. You also have to enable 2-factor authentication in github. --Steve > -----Original Message----- > From: Dave Birdsall <[email protected]> > Sent: Wednesday, January 9, 2019 10:06 AM > To: [email protected] > Subject: RE: Repo Migration > > External > > Hi Steve, > > How does one link github and ASF accounts together?
