Thanks Nitin. Clearly, you're running into well-worn path issues. I tried to use the most basic Linux distribution I could find but it seems that it contained more than the one you're using. I've updated the Contributor Guide to be very specific on Linux versions.
On qmake: I'm wondering if we should try yum groupinstall "Development Tools". See https://support.eapps.com/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Article/View/438/55/user-guide---installing-the-centos-development-tools-gcc-flex-etc This might simplify the installation process. Do you know where you downloaded your Linux image from? I'd like to try the above using that version.
